Help your dog become a well-mannered, confident companion with KI'S K9'S Basic Obedience Course! This program is ideal for dogs aged 6 months and older, whether they’re starting formal training for the first time or need to refine existing skills.

COURSE OVERVIEW:
Duration: 1 hr sessions (1 day/week)
Recommended Training Equipment: Introduction to different training tools and how to use these tools effectivly and efficiently
Essential commands: Sit, Down, Come (recall), Place, and Heel.
loose Leash Walking: Learn how to build engagement, set clear expectations, and navigate real-world distractions to create a focused, respectful walk.
Distractions: How to work in environments with minimal distractions to build focus.
The three key dog training languages: Food luring for engagement. Leash pressure for communication. Verbal language for clarity.
Socialization: To promote positive interactions and confidence.
Dog Training Equipment Requirements
To maintain consistency, clear communication, and safety during training sessions, KI'S K9'S uses the following tools:

2.25mm Herm Sprenger prong collar (properly fitted and used humanely)

Martingale collar (limited slip for gentle correction)

6 ft flat leash (preferably leather or biothane for durability and better handling skills)
Please note:

Harnesses will not be accepted for training sessions, as they do not provide the same level of control and communication between handler and dog.

Clients must bring the appropriate equipment to each session, or arrangements can be made to purchase recommended tools through KI'S K9'S.
